Important information
Driving license
The automobile driver’s license is required. The Official Pleasure Craft Operator Card is required for all motorboats. You do not have the Operator Card? We offer a temporary pleasure craft operator card on site.
Delay in the return of boat and/or equipment
A fee will be charged if you bring your boat and/or equipment late.
Breakage and cleanliness of boat and/or equipment
Fees will be charged if you do not return the boat and/or equipment in the same condition prior to your departure. The tenant must take note of the status of the equipment(s) before going on the water. There are no refunds on equipment if there is a problem during rental.
Lost and robbery of boat and/or equipment
We are not responsible for lost or stolen goods. Additional costs will be charged. You are legally responsible for the boat and/or equipment not returned on time.
Gas for Boat
Boat/Pontoon
Our boats and pontoons contain a full tank at the start. You pay the difference upon return.
The price for gas ranges from 20$ to 200$ depending on the power of the boat or pontoon and your driving.
Personal watercraft
The rental price of personal watercraft includes gas.
Deposit
A deposit is necessary when renting a boat and/or equipment. If you rent a boat, no additional deposit for the rental of water sport equipment is necessary.
Water sport equipment : 250$
Personal watercraft : 500$
Boat/Pontoon : 1000$
Ages required
The lessee must be over 18 years old.
Accident / Insurance
We are not responsible for accidents. The boat insurance is not available at the marina, but the purchase of temporary insurance is often available with your home insurance.
Delay in arrival
If you arrive late for your rental, the delayed time is lost. You must return the boat at the same time it should be returned. You must return the rental by the hour scheduled.
Cancellation
For cancellation of lease, you must notify us 24 hours in advance. The 20% deposit paid during booking is not refundable and not transferable.
Prohibited in the boat
It is prohibited to have animals on board, BBQ or fishing. (Fishing is allowed in some boats.)
Weather
The Marina is not responsible for the weather.
Place navigation
Navigation is done only on Lake Memphremagog. It is absolutely forbidden to leave Canadian waters with the boat. Do not go to the United States.
Duration of lease
One day maximum (8 hours).

Rental personal watercraft
Maximum of two personal watercraft rentals per group.
Beep that sounds the engine
VERY IMPORTANT:
When you hear a beep that sounds, it is a warning of the engine. It is very important that you stop the engine immediately and call the marina to avoid damage to equipment.
The life jackets are provided for each passenger. Navigation rules will be handed to you upon lease transfer.

Regulations while navigating on Lake Memphremagog
In order to decrease the probabilities of accidents, to ensure the safety of the passengers as well as the good performance of the boat, you MUST respect the following rules:

Before the buoys, the maximum speed is 10km/h. Accelerate only after the buoys.

Do not go down the river near Mc Donalds , or in the bay near the municipal beach.

Maximum speed permitted is 70 km/h or 43 MPH.

It is strictly prohibited to accost anywhere on the lake.
For boat / Pontoon

It is prohibited to approach the shore and any island. You must always navigate the center of the lake, inside the green and red buoys. Keep a maximum distance from other boats. This could prevent an accident which would cost you up to 2500.00$ if you bang the prop of the foot of the motor.

Always keep a minimum distance of 200 meters from the shores.

It is strictly prohibited to sit on the back rest of the seats.

Sail boats have priority over motor boats.

Do not use the boat at full speed consistently, vary the speed.

Do not leave garbage in the boat, otherwise there will be a cleaning fee. Minimum 125$

Do not leave anything on the seats of the boat not to damage them. Ex.: cooler, food bag, etc. Place below the seats or in compartments provided for this purpose.

The driver of the boat is subjected to the same laws which govern driving of a car concerning consumption of alcohol.

Make sure that at least one person stays in the boat when it floats on the lake. (Do not go swimming all at the same time.)

It is prohibited to have animals on board, or grilling and fishing. (fishing is allowed in some boats.)

All accessories including radio, will be tested before leaving, no refunds or credits will be paid if something goes wrong during the trip.
For Personal watercraft

Always stay at least 500 meters from shore.

All boats have priority over watercraft.
-
Do not go further than Lord Island, this way if anything happens we will be able to go get you, other wise you will pay the towing.

Do not circulate behind or around the Three Sisters Islands (water level dangerous).

Always stay at a distance of at least a quarter mile from all other boats, including another watercarft as not to cause a collision.

NEVER travel in single file when you are several watercraft. Maximum 2 rentals per group.

It is forbidden to swap watercraft.

Never put the watercraft into reverse at speeds over 10 KPH.

If you zigzag on the water take all necessary precautions so that the watercraft does not tip over.

Always ensure the stability of the watercraft

To change driver, you must come back to the Marina. If you tip over there will be a minimal charge of 500$
Personal watercarft can not transport people on the water sports equipment.
