This silicone tape provides a reliable solution to leaks in water or exhaust pipes and a multitude of containment and sealing applications. Flexible, highly resistant to high temperatures and self-vulcanizing (forms a homogeneous mass by fusing with itself once applied) to ensure perfect insulation.
Effective between -50°C and +260°C, it can also insulate up to 8000v per unstretched layer.
Tensile strength has been tested to over 700 psi and will effectively seal leaks up to 85 psi (6 bar). It also has good resistance to mild acids, fuels, oils, solvents, salt water, ozone, UV rays, and flames.
Compared to self-curing PVC, it is resistant to a temperature of -50° + 180°, a pressure of 6 bar, and it guarantees excellent resistance to oils and fuels.
