This base is designed for use with all 7/8" diameter (bottom pole) support poles. The bottom pad is made for EPDM to provide additional friction to hold pole in place against the deck versus the traditional crutch tip design. In addition, the base pad has a swivel capability that allows the pole to be positioned at just the right angle for your application. Simply remove the bottom tip from your existing support pole and insert over adapter to secure. Sold each.
